Do You Love Moot Courts the Way I Do?

My professional career began with a moot court, way back in 2000. Since then I have taken part in a great many moots, in every role imaginable: coach, tutor, judge, organiser, author, sponsor. I believe that nothing changes students’ lives quite like a moot court. It gives them a fantastic boost.
My thanks to everyone who contributes to moots, and to everyone who takes part in them. The world badly needs people like you to cope with this chaos.
This nostalgic photograph was taken in 2018, when — thanks to the BILA team and our dedicated volunteers — we organised a fantastic Jessup.BY. Peter Tzeng, the author of the 2018/19 Jessup problem, came to judge the final, along with many other people very dear to my heart. Thank you, my friends! Take care.
